About me

I am a listener first, designer second.

I ask questions first, nudge pixels second. I believe understanding people and their landscapes are critical to successful design.

I demystify and untangle complex problems for my stakeholders and my customers. As a designer, I help my teammates become user experts, regardless of their roles.

I clearly define objectives and key results. I develop processes and design validated solutions to help customers complete their jobs efficiently.

I mentor aspiring product designers by sharing strategies and insights from my own design journey. It brings me joy to positively influence the lives of others and help others grow.

nowhere to go but everywhere

β€œIt seems that the more places I see and experience, the bigger I realize the world to be. The more I become aware of, the more I realize how relatively little I know of it, how many places I have still to go, how much more there is to learn.”

- Anthony Bourdain

I travel to learn how others live. To walk across foreign lands in your own shoes is a privilege and a luxury, but to walk in someone else's shoes is priceless.

I am hopelessly romantic about journeying to foreign lands, marinating in the feeling of the unknown, re-engaging with the discomfort of immersion in unheard tongues, and joyfully absorbing knowledge without structure or logic like an infant seeing the world for the first time.

If you ever want to exchange travel stories, let's grab a beer!
